Television personality Robin Roberts revealed earlier today that she was facing another health drama.

A very emotional Roberts sat down with her Good Morning America co-hosts including best friend Diane Sawyer where she revealed that few months ago she was told by her doctors that she has a rare blood and bone-marrow disorder called MDS/myelodysplastic syndrome also known as preleukemia.

Robin Roberts went on to explain that the myelodysplastic syndrome was caused by the treatment she underwent for breast cancer in 2007.

The talk show host shared that she decided to make the announcement because she will begin pre-treatment this week which implies that she will be wearing a bandage on her arm while she hosts the series .

Roberts added she will undergo a bone marrow transplant (thanks to her sister who is a perfect match) very soon and vowed to win this fight.
