Medical Marijuana Commercial In California

Medical Marijuana Commercial In California – A first for the U.S., with a paid advertisement being aired for a medicinal marijuana dispensary in California. The advertisement, which is breaking new ground for drug use, is a step in a new direction, considering at marijuana’s past and the stigmas attached to it’s use.

When the add was aired, the network, KTXL in Sacramento, and its acting general manager, Mike Armstrong, expected the public to ring up and complain about the commercial, or at least some reaction. However, the public offered no or little reaction to the advertisement. Which is odd, considering how outspoken anti-drug campaigners are.

“I answer my own phone, and I have received nothing directly,” Mike Armstrong said about the advertisement which aired on Monday. “I expected more. I don’t know. I just did.”

Perhaps, this is due to public perceptions of the use of medicinal marijuana. It’s a popular pop culture reference, seen on television almost daily, is advertised in songs of many genres, is even the in the title of some number 1 albums (Such as Dr Dre’s The Chronic.).

California was the first state to legalize Marijuana use for medicinal purposes. It is currently putting forward a vote to the public, to see if recreational use of marijuana will be made legal.

$113 billion is spent on marijuana every year in the U.S., and because of the federal prohibition *every* dollar of it goes straight into the hands of criminals. Far from preventing people from using marijuana, the prohibition instead creates zero legal supply amid massive and unrelenting demand.

According to the ONDCP, at least sixty percent of Mexican drug cartel money comes from selling marijuana in the U.S., they protect this revenue by brutally torturing, murdering and dismembering countless innocent people.

If we can STOP people using marijuana then we need to do so NOW, but if we can’t then we need to legalize the production and sale of marijuana to adults with after-tax prices set too low for the cartels to match. One way or the other, we have to force the cartels out of the marijuana market and eliminate their highly lucrative marijuana incomes – no business can withstand the loss of sixty percent of its revenue!

To date, the cartels have amassed more than 100,000 “foot soldiers” and operate in 230 U.S. cities, and Arizona police are now conceding that parts of their state are under cartel control. The longer the cartels are allowed to exploit the prohibition the more powerful they’re going to get and the more our own personal security will be put in jeopardy.

It is baffling that McDonalds & other fast food chains can advertise all they want with no backlash & it is PROVEN their products cause obesity, heart disease & diabetes but this commercial gets backlash?

By the way….the most explicit video I have seen depicting marijuana use on TV has been on FOX. Every time there is a news story on anything Marijuana related the B-roll is like a clip from a Cheech & Chong movie. But that is “journalism” right?

Prohibition is a sickening horror and the ocean of hypocrisy, incompetence, corruption and human wreckage it has left in its wake is almost endless.

Prohibition has decimated generations and criminalized millions for a behavior which is entwined in human existence, and for what other purpose than to uphold the defunct and corrupt thinking of a minority of misguided, self-righteous Neo-Puritans and degenerate demagogues who wish nothing but unadulterated destruction on the rest of us.

Based on the unalterable proviso that drug use is essentially an unstoppable and ongoing human behavior which has been with us since the dawn of time, any serious reading on the subject of past attempts at any form of drug prohibition would point most normal thinking people in the direction of sensible regulation.

By its very nature, prohibition cannot fail but create a vast increase in criminal activity, and rather than preventing society from descending into anarchy, it actually fosters an anarchic business model – the international Drug Trade. Any decisions concerning quality, quantity, distribution and availability are then left in the hands of unregulated, anonymous and ruthless drug dealers, who are interested only in the huge profits involved. Thus the allure of this reliable and lucrative industry with it’s enormous income potential that consistently outweighs the risks associated with the illegal operations that such a trade entails, will remain with us until we are collectively forced to admit the obvious.

There is therefore an irrefutable connection between drug prohibition and the crime, corruption, disease and death it causes. Anybody ‘halfway bright’, and who’s not psychologically challenged, should be capable of understanding that it is not simply the demand for drugs that creates the mayhem, it is our refusal to allow legal businesses to meet that demand. If you are not capable of understanding this connection then maybe you’re using something far stronger than the rest of us. So put away your pipe, lock yourself away in a small room with some tinned soup and water, and try to crawl back into reality A.S.A.P.

Because Drug cartels will always have an endless supply of ready cash for wages, bribery and equipment, no amount of tax money, police powers, weaponry, wishful thinking or pseudo-science will make our streets safe again. Only an end to prohibition can do that! How much longer are you willing to foolishly risk your own survival by continuing to ignore the obvious, historically confirmed solution?

If you support the Kool-Aid mass suicide cult of prohibition, and erroneously believe that you can win a war without logic and practical solutions, then prepare yourself for even more death, tortured corpses, corruption, terrorism, sickness, imprisonment, economic tribulation, unemployment and the complete loss of the rule of law.

“A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.”
    Abraham Lincoln

The only thing prohibition successfully does is prohibit regulation & taxation while turning even our schools and prisons into black markets for drugs. Regulation would mean the opposite!

It is not the neo-puritans that started this whole mess. it is the eugenicists. the population control people. the divide and conquer people. the elitists have always striven to keep ethnic groups separated. from opium den laws to herb restrictions. cannabis prohibition was funded by the hearst newspaper empire and illuminist eugenics corporation. the evil behind the scenes have always used well meaning groups with a short sighted outlook have always been used as a tool for advance their agenda. with bill gates now openly calling for death panels and using vaccines to weed out the bad seed to reduce the world population, an alternative medicine and recreational device is a must to stay away from the big pharma poisons being unleashed upon the public at a rate of 9 bad ones for every good one. i guess that is what happens when the fda is packed with big pharma yes ghouls.
oh and the CUA runs the drug trade. if you don’t pay your cut to them they send in the law and the military.
just google: heraldo troops protecting poppy fields
remember eugenics is just an excuse to kill people and feel good about it.
