Jack Osbourne has announced that few weeks ago he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and has lost at least 60 per cent of vision in his right eye.

The 25-year-old reality star along with his mother Sharon Osbourne sat down for an emotional interview with Hello magazine where he shared that the heartbroken news fell just weeks after his fiancee Lisa gave birth to their daughter Pearl.

Mr. Osbourne revealed that he went through several stages before accepting the truth and deciding to fight the illness. The filmmaker who celebrated his first father’s day revealed to the publication:

“While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry. The timing was so bad. I’d just had a baby, work was going great – I kept thinking, “Why now?”.Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realised, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point – if anything it’s only going to make it worse. Adapt and overcome’ is my new motto.”

Multiple sclerosis which is also known as MS is an illness that attacks the central nervous system, destroys myelin sheath layers that are located between the nerves in the brain and spinal cord.

Individuals with the disease (who are often females that under the age of 16) are unable to have impulses carried around their bodies, become blind, have impaired speech and lost of coordination.

Sharon Osbourne tackled the personal matter on her show “The Talk” which you can watch after the jump.
