Body Scanner Operators Affected By The Device »

It was about to happen, as there were questions regarding the safety of the airport body scanners, and now a story emerges claiming that cancer rates to TSA workers operating the devices has risen.

According to this report, the TSA has been caught covering up the rise in cancer cases of TSA workers who operate these devices. The information was gathered from FOIA or Freedom Of Information Act documents that were acquired by the Electronic Privacy Information Center.

Low-calorie Diet Could Help Patients With Diabetes »

An experiment in the UK has shown what those who suffered from Diabetes 2 were able to be off their medication in just a few weeks by doing something as simple as changing their caloric intake.

The study showed that those participants who kept to a 600 calorie a day diet were able to recover from the illness and some tossed away their medication. A year and a half later after the test, most were reportedly free of the disease.

Type 2 Diabetes is often and rightly so associated with excess fat. Processed foods, and other fast digesting foods. The shedding of excess pounds often leads to the disease being more treatable or gone altogether.
